2025 Symposium Registration

Name
An “early career researcher” is typically defined as someone who has recently completed their PhD or equivalent research training, and is actively transitioning into an independent research position, usually within a few years of finishing their doctoral studies, focusing on establishing themselves as experts in their field; this timeframe can vary depending on the institution or funding agency, but generally falls within a window of 3-8 years post-PhD
Are you interested in contributing a presentation?
If Yes, what type of presentation are you interested in?
We want to hear about your research, new ideas you would like to pitch or get feedback on, or maybe just introduce yourself to the community. You can contribute in one of three ways: 1) 2-minute “speed-dating” introductions: A quick overview of yourself and your work (great for those starting out or new to SKEG). 2) 5- or 10-minute research presentations: Share your findings (you choose the presentation length). 3) 5- or 10-minute idea pitches: Present new ideas or concepts for feedback – This session is designed to be a safe and supportive space for brainstorming, refining concepts, and seeking advice. Participants are encouraged to share openly, and all attendees are expected to respect the collaborative nature of this session.
